What to Do If Your 3 Season Windows Seem to Be Falling Down

If you notice that the window in your sunroom has fallen slightly from the top, whether due to wind or other reasons, there are a few steps you can take to address it.

First, ensure the window is pushed all the way up into the top jam. Sometimes, when closing the window, it may not click fully into place.

If that doesn’t work, you can remove the window and adjust the tension springs, known as d-rings. These springs help keep the window from sliding down. To do this, pull the springs out from their holes and bend them tighter to increase tension.

Reinstall the springs and pop the window back in place. This will help the window stay in position.

Summary:

To fix a window in your sunroom that has fallen, first ensure it is pushed fully into the top jam. If it still slips, remove the window and adjust the tension springs by bending them tighter. Reinstall the window to keep it secure and prevent it from sliding down.
