Migration is now complete!

Quick update: The email accounts have been successfully migrated! The old Gmail accounts will remain active for sending (but not receiving) emails until they are disabled, though they should no longer be used.

After logging in using the steps below, please remember to log out of the old Gmail account both in your web browser and on your device if you use a mail program, to prevent accidentally sending emails through Google Mail services. The only exception is to access existing Google Drive folders until they are migrated in the coming week(s).

365 Mail Login Steps

1. Go to https://outlook.office.com.

2. Enter your Exchange email address that was provided to you in the email and click Next.
3. Enter the temporary password that was given and sign in.

4. At this phase or in a future step, it will ask you to change your password. Please create a secure password.

5. You will then be presented with a few options for multi-factor authentication. We strongly recommend having some form of multi-factor authentication in place.

Options include the Microsoft Authenticator app. Although this is a very secure option, the setup can be a bit confusing. I recommend using “I want to set up a different method” and choosing phone or email. The phone method is convenient because it will send a text message to your phone and you can use that to sign in.

6. Your inbox will load in the web version of Outlook.

7. You will now send and receive emails from this account and no longer from Google. Feel free to setup other devices with the native mail applications or Outlook apps if you prefer.a

You can either use the Outlook app or Mail app. The instructions below are for the Mail app. Outlook app will be more like the Outlook Online instructions.

1.Open Settings → Scroll down and tap Apps.

2. Tap Mail  Then Tap Mail Accounts  Then tap Add Account.

3. Select Microsoft Exchange.

4.Enter your email address, and tap Next.

5.Tap Sign In (if prompted) instead of Configure Manually.

6.Enter your password.

5. You will then be presented with a few options for multi-factor authentication. We strongly recommend having some form of multi-factor authentication in place.

I recommend using “I want to set up a different method” and choosing phone or email. The phone method is convenient because it will send a text message to your phone and you can use that to sign in. Authenticator is very difficult to setup correctly and for that reason not my first recommendation.

7.Choose the services to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc.), then tap Save.

8.Open the Mail app, and your Exchange inbox should start syncing.

Setup should be relatively similar to the instructions above. Just be sure to select Microsoft Exchange as the type and ensure you set up some form of Multi Factor Authentication when prompted. Authenticator is challenging and not recommended. Select “I want to use a different method” in the bottom left. I recommended phone.
